Getting away with it (all messed up)

It's either things or people. You have to surround yourself with one or the other in order not to be ground down by the forces of repetition that constitute your average everyday. Generally speaking, things are more trustworthy, if less expressive. They have their intrinsic limited value that does not fluctuate much over time. People tend to be more volatile. They retain their own separate orbits even when they seem to be governed by the quantum principle of entanglement. False dawns abound either way. And then it's back to the calm, quiet swamp.
